Childsmile Inverclyde

Inverclyde has a dedicated team which includes, Childsmile Oral health educator and Oral Health Improvement Assistant Practitioners. Their role is to improve the oral health of children in Inverclyde. This is delivered via the Childsmile programme aimed at reducing inequalities in oral health and ensuring access to dental services for every child across the locality.

Childsmile Core Programme is a Scotland-wide initiative to help improve the health of our children's teeth, through the distribution of free dental packs and supervised toothbrushing programmes in all nurseries, P1 and P2 in priority schools.
